Wow this place is delicious. Home-made dressings, and chicken fingers. They even have gumbo! You name it they have a great selection. I got grilled catfish fillets, and teriyaki brussel sprouts in this picture. It was amazing. Karen, Ester, and John are the friendliest staff. I love seeing their faces when I go to Bateaux's!

Bateaux's is an hybrid between a gas station, fishing store, and homely restaurant, all accentuated by a great staff and bucolic lakeside location. The location itself merits stopping by and enjoying the view, perhaps taking a picture or three. The food itself is good, but the kindness and attentiveness of the servers and cooks that goes above and beyond makes it a wonderful place to visit. I ordered the Hwy 8 burger, which turned to be an amazing burger, and the staff was accommodating even if it wasn't the usual lunch time. And what a good burger that was! Yeah, definitely stop by if you're by the area.
